Chinwe Okoli

Chinwe Okoli began her apprenticeship under veteran potters in eastern Nigeria before studying fine art sculpture. Her work investigates the dialogue between functional earthenware and contemplative sacred forms. Using local earthenware clay burnished with river stones and treated with botanical smoke, Okoli's tactile vessels celebrate the organic geometry of African domestic heritage.
